Radio History of RJ ADEEL ABBASI
Rj Adeel Abbasi started his radio career from july 2004 from a commercial show of TELEFUN . He was finalist in the trial of RJ HUNT program started by TELEFUN , competeing HASNI NAVEED AFRIDI . He finished up as a runner's up . He was just 19 year old at that time and the youngest one in the competition . From there Rj Adeel Abbasi started to climb up the stairs for Radio Jockey . In the next year , he cleared the auditions of HUM FM 106.2 . It was planned that ADEEL ABBASI will be the part of launching team . He waiting for the programs call for about 8 month but then HUM FM 106.2 changed the policy and convert it self as a station of BACK 2 BACK music . Dishearted from the news , he tried his luck on FM 103 . He met sahir lohdi , who said you should start with a segment of mine to gain some experience and will sit on solo shows . He did episodes of LOLLYWOOD BOLLYWOOD and performed as a LOLLYWOOD for few times . Then he left 103 because he was looking to have his own identity .
Finally he gave audition of FM 101 and was selected instantly . He was the most junior RJ , who did FM 101 international , in just 4th month of his joining . As an RJ , ADEEL ABBASI , was most Punctual , Loyal and Hardworking . Mean while he was offered by different commercial radio stations . His abilities was catched by many voice over companies also by GEO TV where Dr AMIR LIAQAT HUSSAIN offered him to host a RAMADAN PROGRAM called as QASAS UL AMBIA , he refused thats show because of his education .
In Nov 2008 , he was offered by SZABIST UNIVERSITY campus radio ZABFM 106.6 to PRODUCE THE PRIME TIME SHOW . After the approval of FM 101 , RJ ADEEL ABBASI joined ZAB FM also where do daily produce PTS. He introduced the segments named as , Nuqta e Nazar , where he provide complete researched information about social issues like " JAALI AAMIL " , STREET BEGGARS , REAL JUSTICE , SUICIDE Bombers etc . Another remarkable segment was " HELP ONLINE " where he provide different kind of help of needy people , like " EDUCATIONAL , MEDICATIONS , EMPLOYMENT ETC " , that program was appreciated by every one . Other segments like " BUJO TO JANAY , APKI KAHANI MERI ZUBANI , RAPID FIRE etc were well produced segments . He is the one who promotes talent and introduced many young talent who were will to be guest rj in his shows . On both station , he made his marks .
In FEB 2010 , SZABIST new management changed the policy to cut the expenses . Therefore , SZABIST announced that no external producer and station managers are required , ZAB FM will only be a course for the station of ZAB FM . So , on 28th Feb , he left ZAB FM and was also awarded as honor certificate . In April 2010 , FM 101 International was shift to KARACHI from ISLAMABAD . The management of FM 101 decided to give RJ ADEEL ABBASI an honor , to start the shows . He was the First Voice to go on air by any RJ of Karachi in FM 101 INTERNATIONAL , NON COMMERCIALLY . He again showed his talent by doing fast pace shows as well as GHUNCHA E SHAUQ ( poetry shows ) .Mean While , he also Launched his own Marketing Firm , AXIS Marketing . RJ ADEEL ABBASI was getting popular because of his versatile style , dynamic personality , character , thoughts , music sense , views about life and humor . The 8th Wonder show was one of the most listened show of all time was produce and marketed by him .
On 30th june , FM 101 International was going back to Islamabad , FM 101's Management decided to again give ending show to RJ ADEEL ABBASI . He did Remarkable job which people will never forget . After 101 International's popularity , Producers of FM 101 decided to announce the No.1 RJ of FM 101 PAKISTAN .
RJ ADEEL ABBASI , is one of those RJ's who have made a mark in a very short span of time and yet is going on and on . Due to his popularity and Hardwork many other Senior Rj's are trying to create rumors against him and his character . People named him RADIO ROCKER , still love him and will do till they know him .
